2023 Summer Youth Volleyball Programs

   Why Ocean State Volleyball?
We have been sharing our passion
by instructing youth players
from ten years old to 18 years old
for over 20 years.
Many of our players have succeeded not only on their high school teams,
but have also been quite successful
on their college teams.
Our first priority has always been to teach, demonstrate, and expect

To All Ocean State Volleyball Players and their Families
Past, Present, and Future

Our first concern is that all of you are safe and healthy!

We miss you very much!

We are planning on returning to the courts when we
are given permission to do so by our Governor,
the State of Rhode island Director Department of Health,
USA Volleyball, and the New England Regional Volleyball Association, AND we deem the facility/facilities we
rent from are safe for all of us.  Safety is our FIRST Priority!
When we do so is still an unknown; however, we must keep the faith and know that everything possible is being done to keep you safe--
ON and OFF the COURT

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE MEANTIME!!!

All of us were presented with this crisis without much time to think
or prepare.  However, we have what it takes to do our part
to help in the fight and become winners!  Now is the time to apply all that we have learned and be willing and ready to learn what we do not know with respect, grace, character, and maturity.

As athletes, you have been presented with OFF THE COURT challenges that require your immediate attention. As athletes, you are strong--physically, emotionally, and mentally prepared.
DON'T SECOND GUESS YOURSELF.  BE PATIENT.
TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME.
You are quite capable and quite prepared to take on these challenges and achieve as a family member and team player.  The team requires each and every one of you to be a LEADER--STAY HOME, KEEP UP WITH YOUR STUDIES, EAT WELL, STAY HEALTHY AND STRONG, and GET ENOUGH SLEEP.  When you take a break and go outside--get some fresh air, take a walk, practice some volleyball drills....

These are the actions that are necessary to perform well
ON THE COURT (which we plan on doing) and during this crisis.
Remember what you do OFF THE COURT has a direct effect of how you perform ON THE COURT !
Staying together, even virtually, is so important!

If any OSV player or family is need, please contact
Claire Baggesen, Program Director.
Our staff will help where and when we can.

Please join our FACEBOOK Page
to keep up with notices, view drills, and other valuable notices.
PLUS it is FUN!

STAY HEALTHY, STAY SAFE......
SINCERELY,
THE OSV STAFF
